Description: Ms of book published by author. History of the family of Dr Thomas Renwick and his first wife, Adeline Absolon, and second wife Anne Smith. Adeline came alone to New Zealand in 1843. Born in 1844 Anne came to New Zealand with her elderly mother. After Thomas's death in 1877 she continued to run their farm, and a substantial part of the history relates to financial problems she had to deal with in order to keep it in production.
