Description: Half-length portrait of Cook, with vignettes of incidents from his voyages around the portrait, including a hat, telescope, sword and flag above the portrait, Maori and Pacific artifacts, two ships in the Antarctic and a Tahitian with a spear on the left, Cook and his crew landing at Tanna, Vanuatu below, a Hawaiian man dancing, a Maori canoe being hauled into the sea and further Pacific artifacts on the right.
