Letters describe Caradus's journey to Enland via Freemantle, Cape Town and Freetown, time in Aldershot and Kent, 1940; his journey to Egypt and time at Maadi Camp working in the Divisional Intelligence Section and Cipher Section, 1941-1942; his participation in the offensive centering on the Alamein line and moves into Lybia, 1942 and then time back at Maadi Camp, 1943-1945. Also contains a copy of `Memory Lane' an autobiography written by Neil Caradus and published in 1993.
