Comprises papers relating to the construction of a residence at 22 Ascot Terrace in 1951.

Includes Richard Gray Collins notebook in which he writes about purchasing the section on 29 January 1951; architectural drawings (circa 1951); four copies of document titled "Specification of work to be done, and materials to be used in the erection of a residence at Ascot Street for Mr. R. G. Collins" (circa 1951); newspaper clippings (circa 1951); and brochures for home wares, including the WonderHeat space heater (circa 1951).

Also includes a letter from Douglas Lilburn to Richard and Barbara Collins regarding the future of the house as a potential arts residency, 22 November 1995.
