Diary containing entries handwritten by Arnold John Heine relating to his trips to Scott Base, Antarctica, in 1967 as a field officer for new Antarctic Division of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR). Front cover is annotated "A J Heine 1967-1968, 3 November 1967 - 19 December 1967". The inside front cover is annotated with a handwritten calendar with marked off dates of the trip, and is annotated "A J Heine, Antarctic Division D S I R, 128 Featherston Street Wellington NZ".
Includes daily entries describing activities. The last half of the diary pages and the back cover have been removed.
