Description

Aerial photograph of four mountain ranges running parallel alongside each other, with their headlands protruding into the sea, location possibly Cook Strait.

The two mountain ranges closest to the viewer are shadowed, whilst the two farthest mountain ranges within the photograph are bathed in sunlight, suggesting the photograph was taken from a western vantage point, looking back towards the eastern horizon.
