Copy print of a panoramic view of Wairoa township and Wairoa River taken by an unidentified photographer circa 1928. The panoramic view is compiled from four separate original photographs taken from the hill opposite the town.

View shows small cottages, horticultural fields, paddocks, and a large homestead in the foreground. Across the river is seen feilds, houses and buildings along Wairoa River which leads away to the left to show the river mouth.
