Digital photographs taken by Sarah Hendrica Bickerton documenting her daily experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic, from 25 March to 10 June 2020, while working to complete her PhD. Photographs capture the Auckland landscape, domestic/home scenes, including working from home and cooking. Images show the impacts of the Level 4 lockdown, including photos of empty streets and long queues at supermarkets, and document post-lockdown work and social experiences.
Images from 28 April - 13 May demonstrate her experiences of COVID-19 Alert Level 3. Photographs from 14 May - 8 June document experiences of Alert Level 2, including travel to Wellington for her PhD defense.
The final three photographs in the set, dated 10 June 2020, show a return to the University of Auckland campus, and the move to COVID-19 Alert Level 1, with its minimal social restrictions.
