Contains original photographic prints taken by R Dyer, G C Shaw, Glen Jowitt, and unidentified photographers showing students and teachers involved in activities provided by the Wellington Workers' Educational Association. These include: playing chess; writing; art, music, cooking, sewing, and metal work classes; nursery play centre; a geology class trip to Pariwhero / Red Rocks; class displays on te reo Maori, floral art, and comparative religion; weekend school at Victoria College; and the 1952 Dunedin summer school classes. Some individuals are identified.
