Manuscript letter from Mata'afa Iosefa, Magiagi Village near Apia, to John Klein, California. Iosefa comments on the political aftermath from the civil war, including criticism regarding the German government presence in Samoa. Also requests fundraising support from Klein for the construction of the cathedral in Apia. The letter is written in Samoan and annotated with French translations by Father Eugene Didier, as referred to in MS-Papers-12538-1-8.
