Part 1 of the Felix Von Luckner story. Von Luckner's ancestry and young manhood. After the outbreak of WW1 he captains the 'Seeadler'and sinks 14 Allied ships. On 2 August 1917 the 'Seeadler'strands on Mopelia Island in the Society Islands. Von Luckner and 6 others sail a lifeboat from Mopelia Island, planning to capture a schooner in the Cook Islands, or on to Fiji.
