Photographs relating to the Canterbury earthquakes of 2010 and 2011 taken by Ross Becker on 14 October 2011 showing scenes taken in the city of building demolition (National Library site in Salisbury Street, BDO building in Victoria Street, the Establishment Apartments), the Knox Church remains, Gap Filler community book exchange and sign "Gap Filler".
Images taken at Sumner show the remains of Shag Rock, 14 Kinsey Terrace house hanging over the collapse cliff, and the damaged Our Lady Star of the Sea church. Includes an image of the street art work by Otis Frizzell for New Zealand Police recruitment campaign at 817 Colombo Street featuring Constables Nao Yoshimizu and Spence Kingi hugging and a bunch of flowers with the addition of graffiti reading "you can paint but we can't".
