Photograph taken by unidentified photographer showing a room with stuffed birds, animals and skeletons, a constructed front of a carved whare above the display cases at Whanganui Museum. Two Maori figures, the woman carrying a child on her back and a man seated are wearing cloaks in front of the whare. Inscriptions read; "No neg. Whanganui Museum 1905".
