Description

Programme booklet includes a message from Governor-General Sir Bernard Fergusson, and from Hon J R Hanan (Minister of Maori Affairs and Island Territories). The central pages contain the programme schedule. Other pages show an illustration of a carved house in the Taupo area (from a 1908 publication), and a copy of William Fox's 'Interior of Toa Pa, Petone Beach'. There is an article of food by Anne Russel, and an essay by A W Reed on 'Maori culture yesterday and today'.

The back cover announces a talent quest and gives instructions on how to enter.
