Postcard shows a photograph of a young girl in a gathered smock dress, standing beside a window, holding an open book.
The verso has a handwritten message to Sybil and Emily: "Dear Sybil and Emily, Mother's thumb is quite better. I am glad you have someone to take you to the pictures. Has Sunny got his horse yet? I helped Eunice to sow some seeds today. I do like my postcards. Love & kisses to you all, from Daphne. Kisses for Dada, Mother, Sybil, Sunny".
