Description

Album of photographs (possibly taken by official Niuean photographers) relating to Clifford Robert's term as Resident Commissioner in Niue, and of official state visits by New Zealand and Pacific Island dignitaries and politicians to the island, circa 1973-1974. Included in the album are photographs of Clifford Robert and his wife Zelda, New Zealand Prime Ministers Norman Kirk and Wallace Rowling, New Zealand Governor General Sir Dennis Blundell, Sir Robert Rex, First Premier of Nuie, Phil Amos, Minister of Pacific Island Affairs, and King Tupou IV of Tonga with his royal entourage.

The photographs show visitors, hosts and vice-regal dignitaries at various occasions, ceremonies, and state visits, including Niue Constitution Day celebrations, 19 October 1974. Contains 35 black and white prints and 90 colour photographs. Inscription on cover reads "Photographs".
