Description

A young woman ('Nora Shore') tries on a mortar board in her mirror. The hat has a label marked 'Albany University'; the hat box is labelled 'National Boutique'. A card on the floor, which has come with the hat, reads 'Love from Brian'. Sir Dove-Myer Robinson, a teacher in academic dress, and a woman labelled 'Manu Rewa' peer angrily into the room. 'Brian' refers to Brian Talboys, who was minister of Education in 1970.
