Photograph taken by an unidentified photographer on 19 July 1919 showing a back view of a large crowd assembled outside the Old Government Buildings on Lambton Quay, Wellington, while they watch the Peace Procession pass. The wheel of a motor car is visible past the people. Peace Celebrations decorations such as bunting, banners, and British flags are hung from the Old Government Buildings. A blurred figure is crossing the road (tram lines visible) in foreground.
