Transparencies of the Tasman District, circa January 1969. Taken by Les Cleveland.
Waimea West photographs show St Michael's Church as well as the grave of Catherine Anne Thorburn and Kohn Kerr. Also John Palmer's house "The Gables" and tobacco and hops growing on a farm. Wakefield images show the post office and an unidentified group raspberry picking on a farm. Raspberries and apples are also photographed growing on a farm in Redwood Valley.
Golden Bay images show Tarakohe Cement Works and adjacent coastal area, cows being herded on road at Onekaka. Photographs from Collingwood Queen Carnival show the tossing of hay bales and three photographs of the Takaka Citizens Band. Four photographs show a Scripture Union "Crusaders in Schools" children's service on Kaiteriteri Beach. A model of Calgary and of Jesus's tomb is made out of sand and other beach materials. Includes accordion and guitar players.
