Description

Discusses the four elements of the Zero Carbon Bill set to be introduced to the New Zealand Parliament this year: the setting of a net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050; the establishment of a Climate Change Commission; the development of milestones to the 2050 goal; and the requirement of government action based on risk assessments of inevitable permanent climate change. Argues that New Zealand should reduce its emissions.
