- Description
Cartoon by Ronald Edwin Kennedy depicts Robert Muldoon Minister of Finance and Tom Skinner, President of Federation of Labour (FOL) sitting side by side in the capsule of the Gemini XII spacecraft. Muldoon says angrily to Skinner "Step outside and say that Skinner". Title caption from a newspaper clipping reads "Skinner says Muldoon just making trouble". Newspaper clipping caption below reads "Actual Gemini XII spacecraft now on show in Hamilton". A Lions Club logo from a newspaper is glued to the end of the capsule. Signed "Lion Ronken". Refers to an argument between Muldoon and Skinner and to a Lions Clubs of New Zealand exhibition on show in Hamilton which featured the Gemini XII spacecraft and associated NASA items.
