Programme for an fashion design awards event has messages from G G H Gilmour (Chairman of Directors , and presenter Josephine Brodie. The centre inside spread lists the various awards to be presented, and shows photographs of the 1978 Supreme Award winner's gown (winner Mrs June Mercer), and the 1978 Gown of the Year (designer Mrs Eleanor Joel). The last page shows photographs of the judges Mme Frederique Reusser and Miss Leone Stewart. The back cover shows an advertisement for Benson and Hedges cigarettes.

Description: Front cover of fashion awards booklet shows the logo of Benson & Hedges in gold at top right. The names of several sponsors are listed at the lower edge: New Zealand Wool Board, UTA French Airlines, and Club Méditerranée. Back cover shows the words "Move to low tar. Stay with taste" and a couple in tennis-players' clothing, walking along a path between trees. The man has a cigarette in one hand and is tossing a tennis ball up and down on his racquet with the other hand. An opened packet of "Special mild" Benson & Hedges is shown in the right foreground.
