Transparencies of concrete construction in New Zealand, taken by Geoffrey Thornton or Jocelyn Thornton. Each slide mount is annotated with the name or brief description, and/or the location, of the concrete structure. Dates and photographer name are sometimes annotated. Buildings/structures and locations annotated on the slide mounts include retaining wall at Upland Road in Wellington, Arden at Havelock North, mast stay base at Awanui Radio Station near Kaitaia, concrete fence post near Craigieburn, Central Hotel in Napier, and Dalgety's woolstore (demolished) in Blenheim.

Arrangement: Transparencies were arranged in a small plastic slide case, capable of holding 20-30 mounted slides, labelled "Concrete book Bldgs". There was no apparent order.

Processing information: Slides have been removed from container and put into archival pockets, following the original order, from left to right and top to bottom.
