Letter to Tiemi Parete [James Perrott] from Taare Te Rutu, written from Motueka, 12 September 1893.
Taare writes that Tiemi’s letter has been received by “us both”. He suggests that Tiemi visit to hear their news. Riria has returned from Parihaka. Hema is still unwell in Wellington. Taare says that they plan to go to Taranaki, and reports that they are well, but have a cough sometimes. He expresses their love and affection for Tiemi.
