All images taken at the soundshell in Wellington Botanic Gardens, showing the audience and participants at the annual "Summer City"; events organised by Wellington City Council. Crowds of men, women and children are sitting on the ground, some in costume. A young woman is wearing togs (swimsuit), a leafy cap and lace gloves, is seen with a large camera, kneeling on the ground (frames 1 & 2). Two organisers are seen, one of whom is wearing a mask, both wearing t'shirts with the Summer City logo (frame 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
