Description

Frames 1 to 5 show heavy earth moving machinery, possibly filling in a large area of water. A young Māori woman is sitting on a ledge outside the Kamo Public Library (frame 6). Then several members of the Karena family have been identified and are seen inside a house. They include Hugh Karena, with Toby the cat (frames 7 & 8); Jason Karena, (frames 9 & 11); Elise Karena (frames 2, 3, 11 & 12), Anna Karena (frame 10); and Faith McManus (frames 10 & 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
