Description

All images taken in Kitemoana Street, Ngāti Whātua, Orakei. They show a group of Māori children playing in the street, with several parents rounding up their children (frames 1, 2 & 4), including a man with two small boys, possibly twins (frames 2 & 3). Ans Westra focuses on one child sitting on a pebble verge, patting a large alsation (German shepherd dog)(frames 5 to 9); then the last three images show a secondary school boy wearing his school blazer, part of the uniform for Wesley College which is in Paerata, Auckland (frames 10 to 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
