- Description
All images show people during demonstrations against the Springbok Tour. They were all taken in Parliament grounds on the steps leading up to the Parliamentary Library. Ans Westra has focused on two people in most of the views, a young woman wearing a plaid shirt jacket standing with a Māori man with a beard and dreadlocks. The woman is shouting through a megaphone (frames 2, and 5 to 12) (frames 7 to 12). Policemen are seen monitoring the situation further up the steps.
