Springbok Tour demonstrations

All images show people during demonstrations against the Springbok Tour on a march through town towards Parliament Buildings. In some images Ans Westra takes close-up views of small groups and individuals, including a row of women and young people pushing toddlers in pushchairs (frames 1 & 2); another group in Lambton Quay with buildings including Stoneham's (jewellers) in the background (frames 3 & 4). A man in the middle left of the image has been identified as Tony Haas (frame 3); a couple with a small boy and a toddler in a backpack have been identified as Peter Fahey & Marguerite (foreground, frame 7); A long line of protesters is seen across the road in Lambton Quay, with a policeman in the middle of the road (frame 6); three young people are seen outside the entrance to the Departmental Building in Stout Street (frames 7 & 8); a man wearing a hard hat is crossing the road with a large crowd coming arm-in-arm along past the Departmental Building (frame 9); and the Mission to Seamen's building is seen in the background (frames 10 to 12).
