All images show people during demonstrations against the Springbok Tour beginning a march through town towards Parliament Buildings, with the Wellington City Council building visible in the background in several frames. The participants are seen in close-up views with Ans Westra focusing on individuals including a man (identified as Grant Tilly) with his sons & wife (frames 1 & 2); a small Māori boy is standing with his bicycle in front of a crowd of people (his parents among the crowd) marching through town (frame 3), and he is seen with another boy and the bike (frames 6 & 8); his mother (possibly Roma Potiki) is holding his hand in some frames, with his father beside her (frames 3 to 12).
