- Description
All images show people during demonstrations against the Springbok Tour gathered outside the Wellington Public Library, with the as yet unfinished BNZ building visible in the background of frames 1 to 3; and the New Zealand Racing Conference Building just visible in the background in frame 10. The participants and spectators are seen in close-up views, and include a woman standing on a podium in front of a microphone giving a speech (frames 1 to 3). Other people, mostly young women, are seen looking up and listening to her (frames 4 to 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
