- Description
All images show people during demonstrations against the Springbok Tour gathered outside the Wellington Public Library, with the Dominion Building visible in the background of frames 7 to 11). The participants and spectators are seen in close-up views, and include a young Māori woman a row of badges on the strap of her bag (frames 3 and 4), and another young woman wearing a uniform with a pin on her beret, and chevron stripes on her jacket (frames 8 to 11). She is holding up her hand to interject (frames 10 & 11), and a woman is standing on a podium in front of a microphone giving a speech (frame 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
