- Description
All frames were taken at a Te Moana family gathering, possibly at Maraeroa Marae, Waitangirua. They show a number of men and a woman relaxing around a table outside, with flagons and cans of beer, hills in the background. One man, identified as Dennis Te Moana (possibly Denis Te Moana), is seen on the left in frames 1 to 4 & 6. A pākehā man is leading a group of small children including Adrian van Hulst, along a road outside a fence (frames 5 & 11); a young woman and a man are playing cards on the table (frames 7 to 9); and a man is holding a guitar with a small boy watching beside him (frame 11). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
