- Description
All frames were taken at a Te Moana family gathering, possibly at Maraeroa Marae, Waitangirua. They show various members of the family ranging in age from toddlers to adult men and women, taken outside. They all show food from the hangi being unwrapped from their tinfoil covers, and served onto plates (frames 1 to 8); women and children are seen sitting at a table indoors (frames 9 & 10); and a group of young men and children are seen leaning against a car(frames 11 & 12). One man, identified as Dennis Te Moana [possibly Denis Te Moana], is seen on the left in frame 8. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
