- Description
All frames taken in Waitangirua, and at the Maraeroa Marae after the protests against the of Prince Charles to Waitangirua Mall in April 1981. Many of the frames show men, mostly Mongrel Mob members. Three women are pouring hot drinks in the whare kai (marae kitchen) (frame 11 ); and a group of children appear to be in a classroom with a drawing, and writing in te reo (Māori language), on blackboards (frame 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
