- Description
Frames 1 to 7 show a large group of Māori protesting against the visit of Prince Charles at Waitangirua Mall in April 1981. Men standing on a high wall are holding placards which read "Class privilege not wanted in Porirua" and "Poor Lady Di", with part of a large banner partially visible "Ro[yalty] out" (frame 5); and a patched Mongrel Mob member is seen (frame 7). Frames 8 to 12 are focused on a Māori woman protesting while standing in the front row between two police officers. Several children holding Union Jacks are seen behind the policemen. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
