All views taken at Whakarewarewa. A family is seen in the doorway of a single-storeyed house with clothes on a washing line and a partially visible car with a door open on the right (frames 1 & 2); young people are learning to weave flax, carve wood, and weave tukutuku panels, probably at the Māori Arts and Crafts Institute at Whakarewarewa. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
