All views taken in the Te Kaha, East Cape area. A young man wearing shorts is using a rolling machine, perhaps for aerating the ground outside a house (frames 1 & 2); he is also seen in the background in scenes showing a young girl sitting on the back of a pony, bareback (frames 3 to 7), possibly at Te Kaha. Several people including young children playing are seen outside the wharenui at the Te Kaha Marae (frames 8 & 9); a small girl is twirling a poi (frame 10); a man is leaning agaisnt a Holden Belmont car (frame 11); and several people are seen outside a building on the marae.
