- Description
All images show an older Māori woman digging in a patch of root crop, probably kumara, probably in the Ruatoria, Gisborne area. In frame 6 she has filled a bucket with the vegetables. She is then seen with different crops, including a field of sweet corn behind her (frame 11). (She is possibly the same woman photographed by Ans Westra in images at AW-2035). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
