Description

All images taken at a marae in the East Cape, Gisborne area. The first image shows a young man and woman outside, sitting reading a newspaper in a field. There is a car behind, with a row of trees behind a fence and a large area of flat land with hills in the background. The rest of the images were taken inside a dining area. One woman is sitting, leaning on a table with two small children beside her (frames 2, 3, 5 & 6); and men and women are seen sitting, with a large teapot and cups on the tables in front of them (frames 4 & 7 to 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
