- Description
All frames show people who are attending an event, possibly a poukai (Kīngitanga ceremony), at Tūrangawaewae (Identified from previous images at AW-1998 showing part of the wharenui). Ans Westra focusses on a small boy (frames 1 & 2), and then he is seen playing with several older children (frames 3 to 5). Several men and women are seen sitting in the entrance porch of the wharenui, including a man identified as Canon Wi Te Tau Huata (frames 6 to 12). A man sitting next to him is holding a guitar. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
