- Description
All frames taken at the opening of the Pipitea Marae on 31st May 1980. They were taken after the formal ceremonies were over. A Māori man wearing a bone hei tiki is standing outside (frames 2 & 3); then frames 4 to 12 show Māori men and women relaxing inside, some seated at tables with wine and food. A man seen in frames 7 & 8 is drying dishes (identified as possibly Rowley Habib). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
