Description

All frames taken as a large group of Māori enter the Executive Wing at the Beehive, Parliament Buildings. In many images Ans Westra focuses on individual Māori, some men, including a clergyman (frame 8), one wearing a suit with waistcoat and bow tie (frames 4 & 5), and one wearing a long beard (frame 7); and some women. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
