Scenes at Anderson Park, Wellington

Frames 1 to 10 show women and children at Anderson Park, Wellington. Most scenes show them working at tables, possibly making Christmas decorations. They were at a fundraising event for the Divine Light Mission. The occasion and a number of the people have been named by Vicki Farslow who attended the event. She is sure the date was sometime before 19th December 1978, and is seen with her daughter Taja Farslow (frames 8 to 10). Others identified include Melissa Gunn (in the background, frame 1); Nanda Ricket and her daughter Elizabeth (frames 2 & 3); and Jane Armstrong and her daughter Chelsea De Berry (frames 5 & 6). Frames 11 & 12 were taken in an unidentified field with a sign in frame 12 reading "This way to potte[ry?]". A young man is seated on a wooden frame; behind him on the right a car is parked in front of a large macrocarpa tree; a small corrugated iron shed is on the left with a stand of pine trees behind; and a grassy hill in the background.
