- Description
All frames taken at Shorland Park, Island Bay. An older man and a woman are sitting in sheltered arbour with brick wall and wooden pergola overhead. The man is wearing a hat, a v-necked jumper with tie and jacket, and the woman is smoking a cigarette, wearing a scarf over her head, sandals, and a cardigan over her dress (frames 1 to 4). Frames 5 to 12 show various arrangements of family groups on and by a row of seats against a wall. Children are playing in the sand in front of them, in some of the images. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
