All images taken at Shorland Park, Island Bay. Frame one shows a couple lying on the grass with swings in the background, and the sea with boats in the distance. Members of a Salvation Army band with spectators and participants in a park are seen in frames 2 to 12. There are houses behind (frames 4 to 9). One woman is playing a guitar, another the piano accordion, both singing with a man. Another man is partially visible holding up a large sheet with words for the audience. A megaphone is standing near the libretto. One of the Salvation Army women is bending over a pram (frames 4 & 5). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
