- Description
All frames show people during an evangelical parade starting at Parliament Buildings. All these images show participants walking through Wellington, including past the Colonial Mutual Life Building, towards the Wellington Town hall. Placards are being carried including "Jesus lives"; "Come to Jesus"; "Jesus is King"; "Jesus loves you"; and "'Jesus Celebration' He gives real life". People are singing as they march. Ans Westra focuses on a young Māori woman singing and clapping as she marches (frames 7 to 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
