All images taken in the grounds of St John's Anglican Church, Trentham, during a fair. A young man is sitting on the edge of a tombstone, minding his [sleeping] baby lying in a push-chair (frames 1 to 3). An older couple are standing on a pathway having a discussion, with stalls in the background (frames 4 to 7). Two older women are walking along a line of headstones set into the path (frames 8 & 9); women are manning a stall on a trestle (frame 10); a woman is walking past a gravestone in the shape of an obelisk with wrought iron fencing (frame 11); and two young children are climbing around gravestones (frame 12). Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
