Description

All images taken at the Dowse Art Gallery, Lower Hutt, during the opening of an exhibition of a major series of works on Parihaka by Selwyn Muru. People identified in the images include possibly John Kennedy-Good (member of the Dowse Art Gallery Management board, standing with a paper in his hand, frames 2 to 4); and in frame 10, in the audience Hone Tuwhare in the centre seated next to Janet Paul, and Maarire Goodall.) Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified. Photographs taken by Ans Westra.
