Scenes, probably at Pipiriki Pā

Frames 1 to 7 taken at Koriniti Marae on the Whanganui River. A young Māori, identified as Tank Wiari, is digging with a shovel with, behind him, a car and trailer laden with grass sods (frames 1 to 3). An older man has been digging a deep hole (frame 4), and he is standing, relaxing in frames 5 & 6. A small child is sitting on the steps of a house with a young woman bending down to him (frame 7). Frame 8 to 12 were taken at Pipiriki. Frames 8 to 11 show an older woman holding a young child on her lap while sitting near the bottom of steep steps beside what appears to be a high retaining wall held up by railway tracks (frames 8 to 11). Frame 12 was taken looking down a a small motor boat on the river with a group of people standing on the beach. Unless otherwise stated, all persons are unidentified.
